Joinery explorations

UCLA AUD Technology Seminar
Project type: 3D modelling, AR app building
Collaborators: Sanya Vithalkar
Instructors:  Julia Koerner

This project explored custom joinery systems through digital modeling in Rhino and Maya. The aim was to design modular components that could interlock to form spatial structures, both linear and curved. These geometries were tested for variation, assembly potential, and visual effect.

The designs were brought into Unity to create an AR experience, allowing real-time visualization of the objects in physical space.
